Osteopathy
and Postural Strain Driving, working at the computer for a long time, hanging
on the phone, we all have to hold ourselves in un-natural
postures for longer than we would like to. If we keep doing these things, muscles can shorten and body
tissues become stiff and stagnant. The natural flow of blood
in and out of our body’s tissues is reduced. The oxygenation
and nutrition of these tissues is reduced and immobility,
stiffness and general dysfunction results. Persistent ill effects may result in chronic aches or injury
from using weak muscles.
